Food Safety Manager
Sripriya Agaram has been associated food industry since 1998. She started her career in the food and beverage manufacturing industry, serving in a variety of quality assurance and technical leadership roles. In 2014, she joined Henningsen Cold Storage as the Food Safety Manager.
Sripriya is responsible for overseeing food safety and regulatory compliance across the Henningsen network. She is responsible for food safety systems implementation that is compliant with GFSI recognized scheme standards (like SQF). She supports our warehouse operations with 3rd Party audits and inspections such as customer audits and private standard inspections (like AIB a).
Sripriya will soon graduate out of the World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO) Institute. She is involved with the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) and serves as a member of the Government Affairs committee, and serves on SQF’s Storage and Distribution Standard Technical sub-committee team.
Prior joining Henningsen, Sripriya was Group Quality Services Manager at Nutro, Inc. (a division of Mars Inc.) managing multiple Pet food manufacturing locations. Prior to that, worked with Mars Pet care division in USA as well as India, in different Quality Services roles managing manufacturing locations.
Sripriya graduated from Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore, India with a master’s degree in Food Technology. She has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Botany & Microbiology from Bangalore University. She is a SQF Practitioner, FSCPCA certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), Certified on HACCP, Certified Lead Assessor, Certified Internal auditor and Trainer.
