Henningsen Names New Director of Transportation

(Hillsboro, Ore.) November 16, 2009 - Todd Lanter has been named Director of Transportation for Henningsen Transportation Services, a division of Henningsen Cold Storage Co.

Prior to joining Henningsen, Todd spent five years as Director of Transportation Operations for a national third party logistics organization, Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (currently OHL), where he managed executive client relationships and directed supply chain solution implementations and operations. Prior to OHL, he was General Manager of Transportation for Lanter Logistics, a family owned, Midwest regional third party logistics company. There, over a span of five years, he built and operated a successful non-asset based transportation management division, where he designed a proprietary, web-based, fully integrated Transportation Management System (TMS).

Lanter has a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri with a concentration in Marketing. There he was a member of the business association of Alpha Kappa Psi. Todd has completed courses in "World Class Logistics and Supply Chain" at Georgia Tech Logistics Institute and "Contracting and Pricing Logistics Services" at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is a member of TIA (Transportation Intermediaries Association) Connect.
