Henningsen Cold Storage Adds New Board Members


(Hillsboro, Ore.) October 1, 2010 - Michael Richardson and David Thompson, were recently named to the Board of Directors at Henningsen Cold Storage Co.


Henningsen Cold StorageMr. Richardson is President and CEO of Haney Truck Line, a Yakima, Washington-based transportation company. Mr. Thompson is President and CEO of Portland, Oregon-based TEC Equipment, the largest truck dealership group in the western United States.

They also bring a wealth of knowledge in transportation operations, which is a rapidly growing division within the Henningsen organization."


WarehousingAfter graduating from Gonzaga University, Richardson joined Haney, and has held various positions within the organization. In 2007, he was promoted to President and CEO.


Thompson started his career as a truck driver for Midwest Coast Transport while going to college at Parsons College, Fairfield, Iowa. After graduation, he joined the Army as a Military Police Investigator. Upon his return from Vietnam, he returned to Midwest Coast Transport in Portland, Oregon to work in sales. In 1976, he founded TEC Equipment. TEC owns nine Mack, eight Volvo and two GMC truck dealerships.
